Description
One of the leaders in the chemical and agricultural industry is looking for a Site Tour Coordinator for about 30 hours per week. This position is located at their location in Research Triangle Park, NC.

Description
Our client’s Agricultural Solutions division located in Research Triangle Park, NC, is seeking a motivated, organized and enthusiastic individual to fill the part-time contract position of Site Tour Coordinator.

The Tour Coordinator manages site, greenhouse and laboratory tours provided to customers, external partners, collaborators, students and internal constituents. Initially, the Tour Coordinator will develop a streamlined and standardized tour process by assessing the tour needs of affected departments and collaborating with internal personnel. After development, the Tour Coordinator will implement the tour process and be responsible for, coordinating tour logistics, hosting some tours and effectively planning over 100 annual site tours. Reporting to the Site Services Manager, the Tour Coordinator will work with colleagues in various departments to assist with tour hosting and presentation duties.

Job Responsibilities:
• Serve as the RTP point-of-contact for tours
• Manage the site tour schedule and routine processes for site tours at the RTP location in harmony with the standardized tour process
• Coordinate activities and facilitate communication between cross functional departments such as site services, communications, greenhouse and laboratory
• Utilize centralized system(s) to manage tour components (requests, presenters, hosts and tour data)
• Collaborate with Communications colleagues to create tour materials (presentations, videos, etc.) and ensure organization
• Create presenter and tour host training and facilitate trainings
• Review tour requests, assess needs and determine viability
• Schedule tours (average of 10 people at any one time) and components (create itinerary, coordinate presenters and hosts, etc.) and maintain tour calendar
• Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with tour requestors, presenters, and hosts
• Manage or oversee management of tour logistics (personal protective equipment, venue reservations, etc.)
• Conduct standard tours or assign tour hosts
• Troubleshoot any logistical issues, staff or presenter problems
• Write post-event reporting and evaluation
• Monitor and evaluate the process and implement modifications and improvements as needed
• Perform all other tour-related duties as required

Required Qualifications
• Associate’s Degree preferred but not required
• An agriculture, biology or chemistry background would be preferred, but not essential.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills – resourceful, flexible, self-motivated, reliable, responsible, and deadline-oriented
• Quick thinking and creative problem solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong management and leadership capabilities
• Ability to present in front of groups
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
• Computer proficiency (adept at Microsoft Word and Excel and knowledge of databases)
• Attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate with various departments
• Ability to effectively represent our client
• Customer-service oriented and the ability to work with internal and external customers
