Exciting opportunity to work for an International leader in the food manufacturing industry. We have over 100 years of experience in baking & cake decorating, product innovation & inspiration and have an immediate opening for a highly skilled and professional Technical Sales Manager to join our team here in the US.

Principle Objectives:
To identify and develop new business within the B2B channel as well as expand sales in existing accounts.
To observe and work within the parameters of the category budget.
To plan, manage and lead detailed account plans for the category with cross functional teams.
To develop and work closely with the Head of International Operations and the VP of Sales & Operations in delivering the strategic plan.

Job Content (Specific):
•Develop proactive-cross functional relationships with customers NPD, technical and production teams.
•Gain a detailed understanding of all key customer plants, equipment and process flows to assist with future projects, using this knowledge to provide commercial solutions and opportunities to new and existing customers.
•Actively manage projects with customers, ensuring cross-functional alignment with NPD and technical functions through regular internal briefings and communication.
•In collaboration with the Brand Ambassadors and UK applications team, ensure that there is a healthy pipeline of activity and development initiatives in place all year round.
•Work with R&D to look at the future product pipeline in terms of the market needs, future requirements and trends.
•Assist marketing, technical and NPD teams when required in the form of: competitor information, customer site audits, and customer NPD projects.
•Ensure that all activity relating to the category is in accordance of the financial budget set by the VP of Sales & Operations.
•Provide regular and up to date forecasts to allow accurate projections for operations and planning.
•Provide regular and visible customer contact reports that provide updates that can be used in board meetings.

Job Content (General):
•To observe and conform with all company policies and procedures.
•Develop and maintain effective working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
•To assist and support the VP – Sales & Operations in the delivery of their respective plans, as reasonably requested by them.
•Proactive and enthusiastic contribution to all aspects of the Renshaw operation, always observing our RECIPE values.
•To be an effective ambassador for the Renshaw brand and business

Person Specification:
Demonstrable experience in a similar role within the food industry, in particular fondant/cake decoration products.
•Commercial experience with proven capability to manage customers and prospects, develop and maintain strong relationships and to deliver high levels of service.
•Demonstrable ability of working with NPD, production and technical management to meet customer requirements through a combination of new product development and excellent customer service.
•Solutions focused, has the ability to provide appropriate solutions to solve customer challenges.
•Demonstrable success of profitable business development in a business to business context.
•Ability to document activities and to present this information in a commercially appropriate way.
•Integral to our success is building a strong team, the ideal candidate must be a team player.
•Willingness to travel and holds a driving licence.
