We have an amazing opportunity for a Logistics/QC Clerk. This position reports directly to the Parts Manager of the Service Department and is responsible for monitoring/maintaining the inventory of all medical parts used in the repair of endoscopes. This position is responsible for filling parts orders for both internal (in-house technicians) and external (Service Partners). This position is responsible for meeting error rate targets consistently while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

Duties and responsibilities:
Receiving Parts –
•Check the parts received from Headquarters against its respective invoices and report any discrepancies to the Parts Manager.
•Create a physical location for any new parts within the Parts Room and log the new part name/location into the JD Edwards Computer System.
•Receive all part shipments within the same day and stock all parts within 24 hours of being received.
Picking Parts for Service Technicians and Distributors –
•Ensure that all paperwork (packing slip, print ticket and purchase order) for parts orders are complete and the part requests correspond on all three sheets.
•Place all Service Partners parts that are picked (with the RMA# or PO#) into the designated bin. The part orders should be double-checked and brought to the Shipping Department at 4:00 pm each day.
•Pick all parts for the Service Technicians. The part orders should be labeled with the corresponding RMA#.
•Any additional part requests needed to complete a repair should be entered into JD Edwards to keep an accurate record parts used in each repair.
•Ensure that all MSDS sheets and documentation are included with the shipment of hazardous materials to Service Partners.

Additional Job Requirements –
•Maintain records in the Excel Tracker for all Insertion Tube Assemblies assigned to Service Technicians and Service Partners.
•Check the ISA Excel and update the ISA after the information has been verified by the Accounting Department
•Inform the Parts Manager of any/all parts that are running low (below 25 to 50 parts) and need to be reordered.
•On the 1st day of every month, the major parts (e.g. ISA, CHA, LGB, etc.) should be checked against the number provided in JD Edwards to ensure an accurate number is being kept within the Service Department.
•Order boxes, plastic containers, etc. as necessary to maintain the proper function and organization within the Parts Department.
•Maintain a neat, clean and organized Parts Room.
•Sweep the Parts Room everyday before leaving work.
•Other duties as required.

•College degree preferred and/or 3+ years inventory experience working in a warehouse environment.

•Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets essential job related documents.
•Ability to speak effectively and professionally to employees within the organization.
•Ability to calculate and match figures and amounts.
